Feeling Tones - 2026 Exhibition
Feeling Tones is a body of work shaped by colour, play and connection. The title reflects an intuitive process grounded in layering and texture, where sensation leads and meaning unfolds through touch and material.
Kirstie’s practice explores how surfaces can stir and shift perception. Working with oil paint and tactile media, she allows the physical qualities of each piece to direct its evolution.
Through layering, scraping, sanding, and continual reworking, she responds to the interplay between pigment and surface each painting gradually reveals its own logic.
These works unfold slowly through repetition, spontaneity, and response. They carry a sense of summer energy - open, rhythmic, and alive to the atmosphere of the studio in which they were made.
On from Thursday 5th March to Wednesday 1st April
