I am a New Zealander (Ngāi Tahu) based in Melbourne, Australia. A self-taught artist, I started with work across painting and drawing, favouring tactile mediums such as oil paint, oil sticks, pastels, cold wax, fabric collage, pumice, and sand.

I become a little obsessed with texture and work in a layered approach. Painting, scraping, sanding, and repainting. This allows spontaneous forms, patterns, and connections to be revealed, sometimes with a plan, sometimes not.
